A family in Mysore is disturbed by a painting of Nagavalli and master of the home  contacts Ramachandra Acharya . And Acharya decides to take the help of Captain raju (Venkatesh), a psychiatrist, to solve the problem. Captain collects brief information about the family members before

coming to their home. He stuns them at his very entry by revealing their psychology. How he unravels the Nagavalli mystery should be watched on screen.

As usual, venkatesh has delivered a energetic performance even at 50. He impresses the audience in all fight, comedy and serious scenes.anushka, kamilini mukherjee, srasha das, richa are also good in their respective roles.

Gurukiran's background score is another highlight of the movie, but it lacks the charm that existed in Nagavalli.;The movie has six songs are good in picturisation and 'flashback song is excellent and it echoes in the viewers' minds long after they leave cinema hall. The camera work, art and costume designing are also commendable.

The movie Nagavalli does not offer anything extraordinary when compared to the original chandramukhi.
