Shriya smitten by handloom saris

Shriya definitely knows how to combine fun with work. The sassy girl spent her free hours catching award-winning movies at the Eighth Chennai International Film festival.

She tweeted,Im up so early.(Got up) at 3.30 am because Im filming at 5 in the morning for Jiivas film.(Then),watching movies back to back at International Film Festival.Excited!!!!

 

Meanwhile,Shriya seems to have been smitten by handloom saris.The PYT walked the ramp in a hand-woven creation for one of the top designers in the country. She wrote,Every handwoven piece is unique and a work of art.Join me in supporting the Indian handloom industry.Unless we create a demand for hand-woven textiles,the weavers will suffer.I think we should be proud of our own handicrafts.Love them and help them become popular.
