Udayabhanu's a Stiff Negotiator

Udayabhanu, who is mostly in demand as a TV anchor, is an accomplished actress too! But her talent has been long neglected by our cine industry. Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao spotted her

 first and gave a chance in one of his movies. Later
director Sekhar Kammula made her present an titillating item song 'rajasekhara neepai moju teeraledura' in "Leader" movie directed by him. With this Udayabhanu gained good recognition as an actress in the industry. According to Filmnagar sources, recently Udayabhanu was offered a similar item number in a forthcoming movie and she asked for a hefty 25 lakh remuneration. She didn't agree to do the film, though the producer offered up to 20 lakhs. She said "It's 25, nothing more or nothing less."
