who will be the number 1 hero in Tollywood.........

'Kudirithey Kappu Koffee' Music: Sip It Slowly

Young hero Varun Sandesh has been known for his love entertainers and now he is arriving with this interestingly titled film. This also marks the debut of Yogeshwara Sharma, son of Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, as the music director. Let us see how the songs are.

Sri Karam
A fast paced melody song filled with tradition, this number has been rendered by the voices of SP. Balasubramaniam and Nihal. Yogeshwar has given a good mix of conventional instruments such as Tabla, Violin and the chorus was arranged very well. The energy levels of both the music and the vocals are high pitched and charging. Lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry showed his prowess and he described the beauty of a woman in the best possible words. This is a nice traditional song with ‘Teluguthanam’ in it.

Edo Edo Eelokam
This is a trendy song and Yogeshwar has got into the modern mode by using trance beats and it is more of a message oriented number for the youth. Ranjith and Balaji conveyed the feel and concern in the right proportion and Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry gave the right punch in a simple stitch of words. The conflict and confusion between love and life has been given well.

Athadilo Edo
This is a peppy melody song and the solo has been rendered by Hamsika Iyer’s voice. She has given that required naughtiness and freshness with her vocals. Yogeshwar from his end has played in sync with the voice and yet again, there is a traditional feel to the song. Sirivennela delves into the heart of a girl and projects her thoughts in a distinct manner. Overall, a feel good number.

Anaga Anaga Anaga
An interesting song, this is more of a philosophical number and M M. Keeravani was the right choice for this. He gave the maturity and also the depth in his voice conveyed the travails and history of love. Yogeshwar took a subdued stand this time and he created a consistent background beat which merged with the vocals in a pleasant manner. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry gave few touching lines and though they look simple, they carry a lot of meaning. This will appeal to deep thinking music lovers.

Andarlaga
A highlight song which opens on a brilliant note, the number gets into a new level with the voice by Chitra and despite her classical tone, she gives a modern feel to it. Yogeshwar has shown his mettle in the western beat and he has used a decent proportion of drums, guitar, synthesizer etc. it can be called as the title song as well and Seetharama Sastry gave the right propping to the tune with his words.

The album is basically filled with traditional flavor and it is filled with melody and conventional music. There is no item song, no masala commercial song. All numbers are classy, fine tuned with meaningful lyrics and soothing beats. Though some of the songs don’t carry that energy, this is an album which will work well for listening when you want to refresh your moods once in a while.
