Album Name : Wanted
Artists : Gopichand, Deeksha Seth
Director : B.V.S. Ravi
Producer : V.Anand Prasad
Banner : Bhavya Creations
Music Director: Chakri
Wanted is B.V.S. Ravi’s debutant flick as director. While, Gopichand is playing the lead role, Deeksha Seth is playing his love interest in the film. Chakri has scored some entertaining tunes for Gopichand’s previous outing Golimaar. This action cum romantic entertainer has 5tracks. Let’s check out if this Wanted album is really wanted by the audience…
01 – Arakilo Pogaru — 2.75/5
Singers : Ranjith
Lyrics : Bhaskar Batla
The album starts off with this fast beat. This might be Gopichand’s introduction track which describes about his character and the heroism. Ranjith has lent his voice for the lyrics penned by Bhaskara Bhatla, which has some strong foot-tapping beats. Good Start…
02 – Yevo Pichi Veshalu — 2.5/5
Singers : Javed Ali
Lyrics : Bhaskar Batla
After the strong mass beat track, Chakri comes up with this slow paced romantic beat song. Lyrically, the song is not much appealing, but the vocal style of rendition is good. You can give a try…
03 – Dil Mera Dhak Dhak — 3/5
Singers : Udit Narayan, Smita
Lyrics : Bhaskar Batla
Dil Mera Dhak Dhak is a youthful track with stylish vocal style by Udit Narayan and Smita. Chakri has scored westernized beats and made it interesting one to listen. So far, best number of the album.
04 – Cheppana Cheppana — 2.75/5
Singers : Chakri, Kousalya
Lyrics : Bhaskar Batla
Here comes a slow melody romantic song with good lyrics by Bhaskar Bhatla. Chakri is good at his rhythms. But, Chakri could have opted for other singer for such romantic melodies rather than making the song bad with his own vocal.
A for Angel – 2.75/5
Singers : Krishna Chaitanya, MM. Srilekha
Lyrics : Bhaskar Batla
A for Angel is an average number, which will hardly grab your attention. Since, the number is a fast paced one, we can expect some dancing steps from the lead pair. For the audio part, you can happily press the skip button.
Final Verdict:
On the whole Chakri has scored an ordinary album. A couple of songs might impress instantly, but it’s hard to stay in the hit charts for longer time. Give a listen!!!
