Arundhati, Magadheera Formula Continues.....

The stupendous success of the movies like 'Arundhati' followed by 'Magadheera' gave an impression that our Tollywood audiences admire at Socio fantasy and period movies. This is a common practice that our filmmakers try to follow a success formula and right now most of them are concentrating on making similar movies. Our Heroes too are giving more preference to act in such films as they are highly impressed with the kind of craze that Ram Charan got with 'Magadheera'. This can be clearly observed if we look into their current movies.




Nagarjuna's two socio fantasy movies 'Rajanna' and 'Damarukham', Balakrishna's mythological movie 'Sri Ramarajyam', Junior NTR's socio fantasy period movie 'Shakthi', Allu Arjun's semi period movie 'Badrinath', and already released Venkatesh's 'Nagavalli', Siddharth's 'Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu', all these can be considered as the result of the influence created by 'Magadheera'. But the same Hit Formula works for all these movies? It does not require an intellectual mind to understand that there is no such thing called a hit formula. Hero, subject, genre and any hit formula can have some effect on the expectations and initial collections, but in order for a movie to get success, the director should make it really entertaining and crowd-pleasing. The failure of 'Nagavalli', and 'Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu' proved this fact and we have to wait and see how the remaining movies will turn to be.
