Akkineni Naga Chaitanya seems to have attempted a wild goose chase to get into the league of top heroes. After doing soft roles in 'Ye Maaya Chesave' and Geetha Arts forth coming romantic movie, he is now trying to emerge as a mass hero. To achieve this, he has chosen two projects, which are completely mass oriented and also likely to create some controversies.
One of those movies is 'Bezawada Rowdeelu', which will be directed by Ram Gopal Varma. This movie is based on Bezawada caste politics and as RGV is well known for creating controversies and using them as publicity tools, this movie may not be an exception, and likely to create controversy. This movie may or may not benefit RGV, but for Naga Chaitanya, at this initial stage of his career, this could be considered as a bit of risky attempt.
On the other hand, it is heard that Naga Chaitanya accepted another movie 'Auto Nagar Surya', which is going to be directed by Deva Katta, the director of 'Prasthanam'. Bezawada rowdyism is the main subject of this movie too. With two subjects that revolve around Bezawada rowdyism and cast politics, as aforementioned, it is clear that Naga Chaitanya is definitely trying to get a mass image. We have to wait and see whether these projects will get him what he wants or not.
