Premakaavali MOvie Review

CHANTI REVIEW  3/5 (CLEAN MOVIE)

Srinu (Aadi) hails from Khammam town and is studying in Hyderabad. He likes his collegemate Prema (Isha Chawla), which later turns into love. Prema's father Vijaya Ramarao (Naaser)
is the superintendent of Chanchalguda jail. When Prema is going to a temple, some goons try to kidnap her. Srinu, who comes there in time, saves her. Prema and Srinu come closer to each other.

Srinu is under officer in NCC and gets selected for two months camp in Himachal Pradesh. Srinu, who is saddened by the thought of going away from Prema for two months, inadvertently kisses her. Prema gets miffed with Srinu for kissing her. Srinu goes to Himachal Pradesh. Babji (Shafi) captures Srinu and Prema kissing scene in his cellphone and starts blackmailing Prema ( All this will be known to us later in the film). The actual person who is behind her kidnap and blackmail is a Mumbai based mafia don named Thakur (Dev Gill).

A hard core terrorist is lodged in the Chanchalguda jail and Thakur strikes a deal with terrorists to get him out of the jail. He tells Babji to obtain Vijaya Ramarao's e-mail password through Prema. In exchange for her photos, Prema gets her father's password. With the help of that password, Thakur and his men manage to free the terrorist, while he's being shifted to another jail. The home Minister suspends Vijaya Ramarao for the lapse and in turn Vijaya Ramarao punishes his daughter. Seeing all this, Srinu goes in search of the terrorist. The plot unfolds how Srinu brought back the terrorist and won Prema's love.

Analysis
His previous movies like "Nuvve Kavali", "Nuvvu Naku Nacchaav" and "Mallishwari", very well prove what sort of a director Vijaya Bhaskar is. There's no need to ddoubt his abilities as a director. Vijaya Bhaskar succeded in moulding "Prema Kavali" into a youthful love story, much to the liking of the younger generation. While the flick's first part moves on briskly with entertainment, the director filled the other half with action packed drama. Though it's an old formula of him, Vijaya Bhaskar's deftness in presenting "Prema Kavali" in a new way, spares the audience from getting bored mid-way in to the film.

CHANTI Perspective
Acting: Aadi had the privilege of inheriting acting talents from his grandfather P J Sharma and father Sai Kumar. His brilliant performance on screen clearly shows that he not only inherited talent, but also has undergone vigorous training in acting. Aadi has all the qualities abundantly which the new generation heroes require. He emanated quite an energy in dance and fight sequences. Even though "Prema Kavali" is his first film, it's no where felt that he's a debutant. He perfomed well with ease and in an experienced manner. He has a bright future ahead. Coming to the heroine Isha Chawla, she too permed very well. Bramhanandam and MS Narayana comedy is also palatable. Ali also succeeded in tickling the ribs. Others also did justice to their respective roles.

Music: This movie will fetch a good break for Anoop Reubens as music director. All the songs are good. Re-recording also good.
Camera: Chota K Naidu's expertise in photo graphy is well known to all. In this movie also he did a brilliant job.
Dialogues: Some of the punches here and there in the dialogues are attractive. Prasad Varma did a good job.

Lyrics: Vijaya Bhaskar's movies usually have good standards of lyrics. Literary values of lyrics in this movie are on the higher side.

Editing: Goutham Raju has edited hundreds of films so far. His expertise in editing is very much obvious in this movie.

Art: Ravinder's art directions is good. sets excelled in song sequences,
Choreography: Choreography in all the songs is good.
Action: Ram-Laxman's action composing is good.
