No guests were invited. Ileana danced on the stage for the first time in her career for the song 'Premadesam Yuvarani'. NTR too gave a dance performance for a small bit of the song 'Thaliya'. However, the audience was disappointed a bit as the organizers revealed just these two songs and two Slokas.
Suma's anchoring was not so impressive. Udaya Bhanu would have done a much better job. Aswini Dutt assured the fans that 'Shakti' would stand as the one of the biggest hits in the Eighty years of Telugu cinema. NTR was mentioned as 'A One Star' by the director as well as the producer. Director Meher Ramesh appreciated his crew for giving him great support while shooting in various locations and in difficult climatic conditions. He specifically mentioned about one scene which was filmed in the presence of 1.60 Crores people at Kumbh Mela.
The most impressive thing at the function was as usually NTR's speech. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude towards the technical team. The other impressive one was the unseen poster where NTR was seen as a warrior with big sword in his hand. This poster was released by Jackie Shroff. The first CD was opened by NTR and was given to Jackie Shroff.
