Pawan- puri sentiment

There is a sentiment that if Puri Jagannath and Pawan Kalyan have their movie releases around the same time, Puri will get a blockbuster hit and Pawan will get a disaster flop.
If we look into the past, Puri's 'Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi' released on 19th April, 2003 and became a Super Hit and Pawan's 'Johnny' released on 26 April, 2003 and became an utter flop. And similarly, Puri's 'Pokiri' released on 28th April, 2006, and became an Industry hit and Pawan's 'Bangaram' released just one week after that, on 3rd May, 2006, and became a flop.


Now, it seems, Puri Jagannath is planning to rely on the sentiment and trying to release his 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' with a gap of one week with Pawan Kalyan's 'Teen Maar'. But it looks as if the sentiment does not work this time. 'Teen Maar' already got good pre release talk and a Hit is almost confirmed and the sentiment is definitely not going to work in that case. Maybe Puri should shift his movie's release date little bit far from 'Teen Maar' as the sentiment may work in the reverse order this time and 'Teen Maar' may become a Hit and NNR may become a Dud.
