Savithri not stopped

A strong gossip has started making rounds in the recent times in Tollywood circles that Venkatesh-Trisha starrer Savitri, which was launched earlier, was shelved.



However, rubbishing these rumors, producer of the project clarifies that Savitri is not shelved and it would take shape in the hands of director Teja. Suresh Babu further informed that the cast of the film haven’t been finalized and in fact Venkatesh also has not been confirmed for the lead role as he was busy with the other film, the remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard.


As of now, the script work of Savitri has been wrapped up and Suresh Babu will soon finalize its cast. Other details regarding Savitri will be revealed soon.
