Story: Ajay (Mahesh Babu) is a young police officer who is endorsed a task to catch international mafia don Nayak (Sonu Sood). In fact, Nayak and three of his companions (Kota, Shayaji Shinde, Abhimanyu Singh) make a murder attempt on Ajay's father Shankar Narayana (Prakash Raj) 20 years ago, while Shankar Narayana holding MLA position then on behalf of NTR's party. However, Shankar Narayana goes into coma for 20 twenty years.
Meanwhile, Ajay comes to Turkey in search of Nayak. There he meets a fashion designer Prashanthi (Samantha) and woos her. The story later gets a sudden change when Shankar Narayana gets recovered from his coma stage. Doctors advice Ajay to make his father happier ever so that he gets well forever. To achieve this task, Ajay decides to act as an MLA before his father. In the process of creating entire atmosphere to look like it is a house of an MLA, he makes use of several people, who are� actually interested in working for movies. After a couple of scenes, Ajay knows that Nayak is none other than the culprit of his father's murder attempt case. The furious Ajay decides to take a revenge on him. Can he achieve his goal? Does he look after his father well? Does he marry his lady love? Get the answers on big screen.
Artists performance:
Mahesh Babu: Mahesh came up with electrifying performance with his usual handsome looks. He spelled many powerful and catchy dialogues for this movie. His dances in 'Dethadi' and item song are appealing. He continued his over-dose of dialogues in this movie too after 'Khaleja'. However, he developed good timing in acting humorous scenes.
Samantha: If Samantha gets 100 marks for YMC, 50 marks for 'Brindavanam' movie, in this movie she would hardly get just 25 marks. It may be because of over dieting, she appeared very lean. She could not have enough opportunity to show her glamour and performance as well.
Others: Prakash Raj was apt in the role of Mahesh's father. It is monotonous role for Sonu Sood. Brahmanandam and MS tried to generate laughs but only partly they succeeded in their attempt. All others were okay.
Technical department:
Music: The audio of the movie had already proven to be a hit at chart busters.'Dethadi', 'Item song' and 'Nee Dookudoo' songs were good at composition as well as picturization. Background score was mediocre.
Story, Screenplay, Dialogues and Direction: Though he penned powerful dialogues, although he tried to project Mahesh's craze well in stylish narration, the biggest blunder he had committed is that he could not have the command in controlling the length of the movie. Many scenes were dragged. Even though the movie is made as mass and comedy entertainer, no humor was generated in many comic scenes.
Sidelights:
* Former C.M. NTR was shown as the Prime Minister as a part of drama.
* M.S.Narayana was seen in 'Magadheera', 'Yamadonga', 'Simha' and 'Robo' get ups. There was a huge response from the audience for these get ups.
* Ramesh Babu's son was seen as child Mahesh Babu in the movie.
* In one of the scenes Mahesh says he breaks the all time record.

Pros:
* Mahesh Babu's energetic performance.
* Good picturization of second half songs.
Cons:
* Lengthy narration.
* Heroine's glamour and performance were not shown properly as expected.
Bottom line: Watch it for Mahesh and mass masala. Don't expect big range.
