Later, Naidu appoints Venkatadri to be the bodyguard of his daughter, Keerthi (Trisha), as she has a life-threat from Siva Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao), who wants to kill her because he believes that she is responsible for his son's murder by Varadarajula Naidu. Meanwhile, Keerthi continues her education in a college and her bodyguard Venkatadri follows her as part of his duty. Keerthi wants to play a game with Venkatesh and she starts making phone calls through a private number. Gradually, Venkatadri too, makes friendship with that unknown caller and later he starts to love her. However, he doesn't know that the caller is none other than Keerthi. The story takes many turns as Keerthi really falls in love with Venkatadri. She shares all her feelings with her friend Swathi (Saloni). Rest of the story takes some more turns and it will be interesting to watch whether Venkatadri finally recognizes the unknown caller and whether he marries her or not.

Artists Performance:

Venkatesh: Venkatesh as usually came up with cool and dignified performance. He is a perfect fit for the bodyguard getup. In love and emotional scenes, he performed aesthetically. His performance in lady getup generated good humor in theaters.

Trisha: Once again she got elevated through her ingenious performance. Her elegant looks in songs like, 'Emo..emo..', 'Adugaduguna' were mesmerizing. She was sexy in transparent sarees in songs.

Others: Saloni should have been given at least one song. Prakash Raj was usual. Ali generated hilarious comedy. Venu Madhav was enough. Kota and Subbaraju were limited.

Technical Department:

Music: Music director Thaman came up with beautiful melodious songs this time. Songs like, 'Evvaro', 'Emo..emo..endukanee' and 'Adugaduguna' were good. 'Bodyguard' title song was okay. Background score was classy. Background locations in the songs were beautiful.

Story, Screenplay And Direction: This is a soft and sensitive love story. The director has come up with slow narration as he might have thought that the subject needs it. Climax was good as it was filled with some twists and sentiment. The movie might attract families but might fail to attract the masses due to the old and traditional way of screenplay.

Sidelights:

* The story of this movie reminds us the movies like, 'Hello I love you', 'Premalekha' and Shahrukh's 'Kuch Kuch Hotha Hai'.

* In one of the scenes, Venkaetsh and Ali danced for the song, 'Poovai poovai' from 'Dookudu' in woman getups. The scene generated hilarious comedy and audience response was superb.

* In one of the scenes, Ali reads 'Private Number' as 'Parvathi Nambiyaar'. It generated good humor.

Catchy Dialogues:

* Ee Venkatadri ni talachukunte chemata pattuddi....pettukunte blood paduddi.

* Naa gurinchi telusukuni vasthe vokalaa kodathaa..teliyakundaa vasthe inkola kodathaa...kaani..kottadam maatram confirm roy..

Positives:

* Hero and heroine

* Melodious songs

* Story appeals to families

Negatives:

* Slow screen play

* No mass attractive elements

Bottom-Line: May be a slow and steady winner by the support of families.

Rating: 3/5
