I simply love South Indian cuisine. I eat pessaratu for breakfast very frequently. In a sense, I am a pakka Andhraite, though these days I have cornflakes for breakfast sometimes. I prefer to have brown bread with low calorie butter along with mixed fruit juices though. I like to have a very light lunch which generally consists of dal, chawal and sabji. I am not a great cook but I manage to cook reasonably well on occasion.
To satisfy my cravings, I indulge in spicy food a couple of times a week. I used to be a non-vegetarian, but now I have taken to vegetarianism in a big way. Now if I feel like having non-veg, I only eat fish with tartar sauce. My favourite cuisine is Japanese — sushi and another dish called donburi. Besides Japanese, I also love Italian food, especially lasagna and pasta.
I can eat all kinds of sweets but my favourite is Gulab jamun. I also love chocolates — especially dark chocolates.Being in the industry, it is very important to take care of the body, as good food can also increase a few extra pounds. So I generally keep a watch on what I eat and I try eating healthy food. I am a gym addict. I work out for four days a week. I also swim everyday for an hour at least. It helps me stay fit.
Among my favourite places to eat, Wasabi at the Taj in Mumbai is the best. Abroad I like to dine at Zuma in London and when in New York, I prefer a place called Spotted Pig. And in when it comes to Hyderabadi cuisine I love the Hyderabadi biryani. I also like the masala dosas made here.
