Arumugam: Telugu version on January 1st

Bharath-Priyamani starrer Arumugam (Tamil) has been dubbed in Telugu as Bet. The Telugu version will be released on

January 1st under the Shipli Creations Banner, which will be promoted with the tagline 'Denikaina Challenge'. Arumugam, directed by Suresh Krishna was released in 2009, but failed to make an impact in the box office. Movie pundits opined that Arumugam's plot resembled Rajinikanth's 1992 blockbusterAnnamalai.

Tondapu Nageswara Rao, who has bagged the dubbing rights of Arumugam, said the film deals with love and friendship. He added that the movie also conveys a message that there could be selfishness in love, but not in friendship. Bet will also be a visual treat as a number of scenes were filmed in Dubai and Mauritius
