nagavalli story

As you may have already known that Nagavalli is a remake of Kannada film Aptharakshaka, The story of the movie goes something like this.
A family in Mysore is disturbed by an ancient painting of Nagavalli. The members of the family Saraswathi, Neetha and Gowri are psychologically affected by the presence of this painting and things have not been going too well in the house. They decide to contact Ramchandra Acharya a magician. Acharya takes the help of Dr. Vijay (Venkatesh) a psychiatrist, to solve the problem. All directions point to the huge portrait of Nagavalli and it is observed that the portrait is the cause for this.
The investigation also takes back to around 125 years when the King Vijayarajendra Bahaddur used to live and how his enmity with Nagavalli has been going on since centuries. According to the King's horoscope, he will live long and will die only with one particular sword or weapon.
Vijay will start investigating each of them without their knowledge and finds out on whom nagavali's athma is coming. The story takes an interesting turn when it is found out that the King is still alive even now.
We are not going to reveal the entire story and suspense here. It must be watched on screen. It is going to be an interesting mix of supernatural, suspense and horror material. Who is Nagavalli? Is it Anushka or Kamalini? Keep guessing.
